Help! College selection for an INTERNATIONAL!

Hi, I would like to know which colleges would you recommend me to knowing that I...

Am a Male/Hispanic (75% from Spain, 25% from Italy) from Latin America (Argentina)

My grades according to my system would be... 70/100 (This is an average of my 4 years in HS, i guess that in my senior year [next year] i could score whatever I want to, since grades in my country are not even close to competitive, and I consider myself a lazy but smart guy)

EC's
Practically none, but well this is what I have

4 year varsity soccer
8 years piano / 7 years guitar
Monthly charity on local church

Recommendations
I could get 2 excellent recommendations from teachers.

SAT
Didn't take it yet, but guess I'd score something like... 780M 600CR (minimum) 640W

SAT II
Going to take World History/Math IIC/Physics (don't know the scores, but let's assume i'm going to do Very well)

Financial Aid : None (Assuming full 4 years would cost me 160 grands)

Location of the college : The only thing I care about the college is that it is not in an isolated place, I want it in a city (urban area) Size doesn't matter, but preferably large.

To study Business Administration.

Well, I hope you help me, and if I'm missing something important just let me know. Thank you a lot!

do you know how to convert your grades to a 4.0 GPA system? It'll help a lot in narrowing it down.

no, i don't but assume the HIGHEST MARK of all is 10. Well I am in a 7.

I know it doesn't help a lot, but that's all I can tell about my grades.

bump! bump! :(

nobody?
it's not my intention to be annoying but, i'm really looking forward to recieving this information.

thank you

If you don't care about financial aid and want to go to some big college, then apply to well-known privates. There are so many great colleges, so it will really depend on your SAT score and GPA. Since you don't know both, it's kind of hard to suggest any.. some schools coming in my mind are Boston college, NYU, and Emory.. Now.. I don't know if you prefer east coast, midwest, west, or any other region- But California in general has a great diverse of ppl- lots of Hispanic ,too. There will be less culture-shock or whatever in Cali. and guessing you speak Spanish better than English, California is probably really good choice of state. Some great colleges in California include UC Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, Claremont McKenna. These schools are generally very very selective ones to get into. Go to princetonreview.com or collegeboard.com and do the college search. It may help you..

If your grade point average is a 70 on a 100 point scale, that's basically a C average, which isn't going to get you into top schools in the U.S., unless you can somehow account for such a low GPA (i.e. your class's valedictorian has a 75/100 average).

yes, my grades suck.
I could really improve my grades on my senior year but I don't know if that is going to be worth because, my senior year would finish in december (because the academic year in the southern hemisphere is from February/March to November/December) and application deadlines are in January.

thanks

i dunno about the grade system there, but i am a british system and 70/100 is an A grade. Well, in the GPA system in my secondary school, it converted like this: >80=A+=4.0, >70=A=3.6, >65=B+=3.2, >60=B=2.8 .... etc for every subject. anyway, this is the way in singapore, i dunno if it's of any help, but good luck bro!

What really matters is your class rank, do you know what it is?

Upward trends grades are always noteworthy ... you should do your best to raise your grades this semester.

What would be the best college to apply for taking into account Difficulty to get in/Business course rank?
