<p>ok the colleges i applied to want a copy of my parents' 2004 tax return. Thing is, my parent just started filling them and i think by the time i send it to the colleges i applied to, they'll be done reviewing my financial info. Im so lost in this process. can someone explain this to me?</p>

<p>another question. I submitted my FAFSA online back in Jan but i never got my SAR (is this bad?) I didnt know they were suppose to send something back until today but thing is, they say that my application was processed on their website. SHould i be panicing?</p>

<p>true that your parents late handling of this matter could put you in a bind when monies are handed out. Go to Fafsa website, make sure info you estimated online originally still will appear to be accurate when folks actually do their taxes. If not, correct it.
Then, send a letter explaining your situation to financial aid officers, and hope they will wait on you, and not pass out all the money to others who get in there first!</p>
