I took the ACT in April and got a 20. It is not good enough to get me into Northeastern. I've been studying all summer and this school year and I am going to retake it in December. Do you think I could get a 26 or above the second time around?

Yes! of course! when i took my first ACT, i got a 26 and after I practiced a lot of practice questions (took 3 REAL ACT tests and worked out of 1,296 practice questions by princeton review), I raised my score to a 31 (5 pts higher). The gap between my two scores was about 2 months so it’s possible!

The best thing to practice is timing because on my first test, I ran out of time on all the sections but after practicing, I had time left over for english and math (not reading and science though =(…)

Good luck!

Wow. You’ve given me a lot of hope. I got an 26 on my ACT, and i’m hoping to take it again in October.

That is very encouraging. Thanks so much!
