Help considering schools

My parents are paying fully some and some I have to pay them back.

More than about $27,000 in debt (the federal direct loan limit) is what is inadvisable. If your parents are willing to contribute enough to leave you with that much debt or less, then the school in question is a more realistic choice.

You misread what I wrote. I wasn’t talking about COST when I mentioned the “five times” amount. I was talking about DEBT.

How much will be your parents’ responsibility (they pay, you don’t pay back)?

And how much will YOU have to pay back?

Money is a factor. Because if your parents have 240k in a college fund for you and they lend them to you provided you maintaint a certain GPA and they’ll cancel it out once your graduate, it’s one thing. You can apply to any school and we can suggest anything.
But if your parents have a low EFC, you can only apply to schools where your stats bring at least full tuition, or 100% need schools.
If your parents have a high EFC they can’t pay, you have to focus on schools where you’ll get sufficient money.
The list is entirely different depending on which parameters to use.

You are too immature for college. Take a gap year and get a job.
