Help! converting GPA!

The Schools I'm looking at applying for my auD graduate program most require a 3.0/4.0 GPA Minimum.

My Canadian University operates on a 4.5 Scale, and I've searched tons for a website showing the conversion, but I came up with only one, which I don' think can be right.

The one I found is Current GPA/4.5 x 4.0 = 4.0 Scale GPA

But, atm I have a 2.5/4.5, I figured it out that if I get all A's for my next 48 credit ours, I would still only have a 3.1 on the 4.0 scale? That doesn't possibly seem correct to me.

Can anyone help!

Sorry I meant 2.95/4.5

I dont know any exact method that is accurate but what you're looking for is:

2.95/4.5 = x/4.0, x = 2.62

Better way would be to just use your letter grades (A=4, B=3, C=2, etc.) or do (A/A+ = 4, A- = 3.7. B+=3.3) add them up and divide to get a GPA that way
