Help?!?! Curricula Issue

Hello Everyone!

I am a sophomore and currently go to a really competitive highschool in the LAUSD and my school limits our science curricula until we are juniors. This year and last year I have taken two integrated honors science courses (phys/chem/bio mashup). I really want to go to college for a Biomedical Engineering degree at JHU and the only way for me to take all phys/chem/bio ap’s (because they are all involved in bio-med eng.) at my school is to take both Physics C and Bio next year; Several of my junior friends have said that bio is the craziest class they’ve taken at my school. Should I skip Bio and take physics next year and chem during senior year?

Thanks

Take whichever path is most interesting to you.
But remember, you DO NOT NEED to take all the AP Sciences. After you’ve taken 8 APs, any additional APs have little to no positive affect on admission results. You could be better served by joining science related clubs and excelling in them.

Taking Physics next year and Chem or Bio senior year is the best path. You do NOT have to take all three science APs in order to be competitive. However you do need good grades in the ones you’re taking.
