Help?! D:

So I work at Starbucks and I've been transferred to the Starbucks on Westwood and Missouri...

The only problem is, I'll be working mostly open shifts (4am), and there are barely any buses running during that time! I live in Dykstra, and the BBB starts way late. Do you guys have any suggestions as to how I can get to work without having to walk 2 effin' miles every morning? lol

kthxbai<3

umm i would suggest bringing a car if possible but it might be too late… so your best bet is definitely a bike as walking will take too long… but try to transfer to a closer one? like the one next to the movie theater or at least the one in westwood…

my suggestion is to get a new job on campus or closer to it.

Getting a new job is difficult, especially at time like this, and I can’t have a job on campus because I my parents earn too much.

I asked to be transferred to a closer one, but the whole transfer process is very random, and it might even be denied if there is no need for me at a nearby store…lol so i actually got lucky. Ironic, no?!

I guess I’ll be walking/sprinting. D:

get a bike- good exercise and you can get there without the problems of parking

Where would I put my bike when I go back to dorms? Is there a special place to put your bike or do you take it with you up to your room?

outside somewhere? im not sure about it, ask around.

There are bike racks :|

bring a good lock

It depends on where you live, from my own experience I only know that there is a big bike rack that can hold hundreds of bikes behind Deneve A and B.

I’m not really good at giving directions, but the dropoff area for De Neve/Dykstra, it’s to the left of that.

There’s bound to be huge bike racks in other areas too though, so just ask the front desk when you move in…but like ragekage said, bring a good lock!
