I know the Ivey's are a crapshoot, I really like Cornell and would apply to IRL there. I'd like to apply at a couple other Ivey's but realize they are a reach.
I'd like some suggestions on Matches & Safeties. Thanks

Someone must have some suggestions!

i think you have a chance at cornell.. since you're interested in international business/relations, maybe you should look into georgetown? also you could try American university, I believe they're good for business and the school's not too difficult to get into.
oh and as for safety schools.. i'd look into local universities that are nationally ranked (atleast somewhat reputable).

^ I agree. With your stats, Georgetown is practically guaranteed. Also consider applying to American University (match) and the University of Michigan (Match), both of which have excellent international business/relations programs. I think you have a pretty good shot at the Ivies!

I am going to look at Georgetown also but that might be tough also???
Anyone else with some help???

Thanks smart cookie, I am going to apply at a couple of Ivys for kicks but need some safetys. Mich too far I think. Going to look at American too.

You can get in at Georgetown. I wouldn't worry about it. And UMichigan really is an excellent back-up. Check out the Ross School of Business (BBA - Stephen M. Ross School of Business)
If I were you, I would apply for preferred admissions (guarantees you will get into the business school)

I know you said you want to stay in the Northeast, but you should consider UMiami (it would be in the "match" level). Their business school was already great and it's only going to be on the rise because they just got a new dean who is the former dean from Wharton.
