Help! Different Recs for Different Schools?

OK my teacher let me look at the rec forms. I am talking about the Common App teacher recommendation form. On one for a top 30 school, she checked off all excellent and two for one of the top few of my career, but for a Common App form for an Ivy League school, she checked all Outstanding and Excellent, and no top few of my career.

Do teachers do this? Should I just send in the better Common app form?

The actual letter is the same btw.

does anybody know? i'll be mailing them soon.

pretty please please

You should send in the recc that she expected you to send in. You could, however, first ask her if she meant to have "top few in my career" on both.

Most students and parents have no idea what their teachers wrote becauses students usually don't see recommendations. Teachers also mail the reccs directly, using an addressed, stamped envelope provided by the students.

hmm so i'm told
