I do not want to take Calculus next year because I will have the same teacher again for three years and she is just driving me nuts. I do not want to explain further what she does but it is truly unfair, and I do not want to report her behavior because I did once and well she basically lowered my grade because she found out who told. Regardless, I just found out she will be the only teacher offering calculus, and I cannot take it. My counselors are forcing me to take this class because statistics is solely for the seniors. However, I can take an online course if it is accredited it can possibly transfer. Also my school district is LAUSD if that helps.

Wait, are you in high school? Well, given the history you have with her, and how difficult Calculus is, get ready to see your GPA takes a hit. LAUSD… Is that around Gardena or Carson?
If you can’t take Calculus in high school, don’t even think about taking it in college.

You can take Calculus at your local community college. However, you may have to take a math entrance exam though.
See what the offerings are at the local community colleges and if the course is offered at a good time for you. I can see how you’d not want the same teacher for four years in a row.
Go for community college if you can get into the Calculus class. I took Calc I and II at a cc and didn’t regret it.
Well thank god I do not want to major in math. Honestly, you should not belittle the ambitions of others. I clearly stated that I do not have a problem with the class only her.
