HELP! Dismissed student want to transfer back!

I was dismissed from a great public university on May 2016 (semester end).
I transferred to a community college in another state in June 2016 ( starting Fall semester)
I plan to apply for reenrolment for Fall 2017 back to my first university.
Since I will only be attending the community college for one year ( no A.A degree then) , are the credits I earn in the CC able to transfer back to previous university? I saw some one post similar situation with me but they said credit earned at cc are not eligible to transfer back??

Has anyone experienced the same situation? Please comment! Thank you!

Often, once you are enrolled at one university, you cannot take courses for credit at other institutions without pre-approval. However, the exact policies will vary by school. You will need to ask the school in question whether it will accept the credits.

i was dismissed!so its like I restart at a community college, but I still plan to apply for re enrollment to my previous university.

Yes, some or all of your credits at the CC can be transferred to your next university. You might want to discuss which classes you should take at the CC with an advisor at the school you want to transfer to.
BTW, some students who are dismissed are told that they can not reapply for two years to the old university, although that may be for dismissals due to academic misconduct. Did your dismissal have any qualifications like that?

Well i was dismissed only because my gpa was low, so I’m allowed to apply for re enrollment immediately.

If you have completed all of your gen ed requirements before being dismissed, then the CC courses might not be useful for your eventual degree. You should talk to advisor at both colleges about what courses to take.
