HELP! Do colleges make exceptions for course requirements?

i want to apply to one last college, however, it is late now. they require 4 units of math (i have 3, and also a discrete mathematics course) and 2 of foreign language (which i have but of separate languages). their gpa is 3.2-3.8 and their sats are 1500-1720 - i have a 2.9 and an 1810 HOWEVER i have a HUUUUGE improvement in my senior year alone, and very gradually over the first 3 years.

would they even consider me without the 'requirements'?

if they’re ‘highly recommended’, they’ll still consider you. however, if they’re required, then i’m pretty sure that means they won’t let you in without them (though in your application you could say something about how you’ll fulfill the requirements in another way, maybe taking classes over the summer). i might be wrong but i’m pretty sure that you can’t get in if you don’t have the ‘required’ classes. sorry! :(

Pick up the phone and call them.

:( ok :((:(:(

Or email them if you cannot phone, they dont take that long to reply, phone is still a faster and better way to communicate though
