Help! Do SAT scores "expire"?

Okay this might sound a little silly, but I'm thinking of postponing my Dec 5 SAT to January 23. I'm working at the moment and plan to study on my days off.. So I figured giving myself an extra month would help.

I've been wondering, do SAT scores "expire"? I'm planning on working for a year.. So if I apply in Nov '10, the scores I took from the Jan '10 SAT will still be applicable/useable right? i.e. I don't have to take a "recent" test before completing college applications?

Thanks!! :)

I think the “expiration date” is three years after a test. Like the SAT I took in 7th grade wouldn’t count anymore as I’m in 12th grade. But the test I took in the beginning of 10th grade still count. So you’re fine. :D

I didn’t submit SAT’s just ACT which I took in last year. Yep, it’s three NOT two.
