<p>Does CMU accept additional letters of recs (I'm applying to SCSand CIT)? Besides the 2 teacher and 1 counselor, will they accept a letter from a mentor? Also, if so, can I mail it to their admissions office?</p>

<p>They do. I did (from a employer), and the admissions counselor said she was impressed.</p>

<p>I’m 100%. I am currently a Freshman at the Tepper School of Business. Which means they accepted me. Which means it works.</p>
<p>I had five letters-- I had an employer and also a place where I was coaching little kids send a letter.</p>
<p>They should fax it to the admissions office or mail - you’ll see it pop up on the WAMITP list.</p>
<p>Make sure your common ap ID is on top of any letter someone says so they can match it to your file -apparently lots of lost info.</p>
<p>I remember seeing the wrong SAT scores for a while on my page-- after I was accepted! I was EA (attended preC) and another set of SAT scores appears sometime after my decision was posted.</p>
