So I had 1 D in Algebra 2 sophomore year. I'm a junior and I'm taking it again is there any way that the school can erase my grade in sophomore year? And what should I do so I can still go to a UC??

Colleges look at several things when they take in applications E.G. Test scores (ACT or SAT), extra curricular activities, Overall GPA, and other things as well. As long as you have a good GPA and good tests scores you should be fine. Just make sure you do well in the class the second time around, it will look a lot better if you get a good grade the second time than if you were to not retake it at all.
