I’m deciding between Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, and UCI. As of right now, the cost of SLO is making me want to lean a bit more to Pomona. The loans I was offered for SLO add up to 16,411, Pomona loans add up to 5,500, and UCI loans add up to 7,283. What I’m really debating is whether the cost of SLO is worth it compared to Pomona. My major is Aerospace engineering. Any advice?
16,411 the first year? If it were approximately the same amount for the next 4 years, that’s about 60k in debt. Not worth it.
And it’s assuming I commit to the engineering route and succeed, I think Pomona does end up being the safer choice.
