HELP! E-mail from my admission counselor.

I removed a few personal information details for privacy reasons. My family and I did not know how to make "official" transcripts for home school so we did not. I just got my HSED (which is like an GED except it is an high school diploma)...so it would be easier when it came to college. What should I do? Will my application no longer be considered now that I do not have a home school transcript?

Hi *******,

I am the transfer admission counselor who works with applicants with
last names starting with "*". I am working to get an admission decision
made on your file, and it has come to my attention that we will need a
copy of your home school high school transcript.

On your application for admission, you only listed *********** in Section IV(v) on page 3. You noted that you received your HS
Equivalency Degree in item #20 on the application, but did not list
"home school" anywhere. That is why we never requested this transcript
previously. I happened to notice that you attended home school after
9th grade when I read your personal statement.

Before I can move forward with making an admission decision I will need
to receive an official copy of your home school high school transcript.

You have previously received a letter stating that your application is
complete, but this is a new request. A new letter should be mailed out
shortly with this new request.

Please have an official copy of your home school transcript sent to the
UW-Madison admissions office (address below) ASAP. Once I receive that,
I can work to make an admission decision on your file. If you have any
questions, please let me know.

Thank you,

Ask questions about transcripts on the home schooling website of CC- those people will know what to do.
