So im applying ED to Pomona, and I have everything ready. But just as I was finishing up, I realized I had forms OFFLINE that needed to be mailed in. I just mailed in one of the forms, but one other form is a signatory early decision binding agreement that also needs to be signed by my college counselor, and the other is a form that he needs to fill out as well.

Since the deadline is Sunday (december 28th), will I still be penalized if these forms arrive late? I live all the way on the East coast! I've been hearing theyll still consider me early decision since these forms need to be filled out my my counselor, and so its not entirely under my control?

Don't worry about it. They give a bit of leeway for the forms that are due by teachers and counselors. Just have it turned it asap and you'll be fine.

This exact same thing happened to me!!!!! I freaked the heck out and faxed the ED form to my counselor, who faxed it back, and I had to mail that and the signatures form in on december 27th (the 28th was a sunday). I felt like such a moron. I got to the post office ten minutes before it closed. Talk about lucky...
