Unfortunately got notified that I was rejected from Smith College yesterday 
I thought about Mount Holyoke prior to applying to Smith, but Smith won out since the acceptance rate was lower and I toured their campus but didn’t get to go to Moho.
I’d like to know my chances for ED 2 versus RD at MHC.
My weighted GPA is a 3.58, mostly As and Bs throughout HS, with a couple of C+s senior year first quarter and a C+ in algebra my junior year (all easily explained).
I take an honors class (Spanish 5) and 2 APs (English Literature and American Govt).
Last year I took 2 APs (APUSH, English Language), but no honors. I took two honors courses my freshman and soph years.
SAT (new) 1340, ACT 28.
I am involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. I am the Vice President of my class, the Vice President of Women’s Rights Awareness Group, and secretary for Interact Club (young version of Rotary Club). I also play varsity field hockey and am active in student government.
I want to major in English and minor in education (secondary but that may change).
Please chance me and help me decide if I should do ED2 or RD!
