<p>After I submitted my application I got the receipt, and it said that it will send an email confirmation to me. However, I noticed that I put down the wrong email address! I went back to the UC application login page and updated my email, but I never got a confirmation at the updated address. What does this confirmation say? And will future emails to be sent to my updated email address?</p>

<p>What would happen (well...supposedly) is that you'll get an e-mail confirmation from each of the UC schools saying that they received your online application. You'll also get a physical piece of mail from each school saying basically the same thing. Then when the decisions come in...you'll get reminder e-mails (I think) that your acceptance/rejection status is up. You should also get a paper mailing as well.</p>
<p>So if somehow you never do receive that e-mail confirmation, you really do not have to worry if your home address is correct. But make sure you have your UC application number as it'll be needed to check your acceptance for some UC schools i think.</p>
