Hi! Please help me evaluate my chances of admission.
I'm a transfer student from community college here in TX. I will be graduating this May and will get my Associate Degree. My only hope now is TCU
I applied 2 weeks ago and still have not receive acceptance letter (But I already got the Online ID whatever u call it). TCU is the only school that I wanted so bad to attend. My question is what are my chances of being admitted?

I have 3.64 GPA
Phi Tetta Kappa Member
A lot of community service hours!
2 Clubs 1 christian and 1 academic club.

Plan to transfer by Fall 2006
Major in Foreign Language (B.A)

I felt bad when I found out they determine their scholarship based on cumulative transferability of core classes that I took from community college.

Now, only approx. 27 credit hours out of 70 will transfer. (The reason is I did not do the Associate in General Studies instead I have like an Associate A.Science in Management if you know what I mean). My GPA went really low after I did a self computation of that 27 hours.

I don't know admission counselor told me don't worry about admissions and they will consider me for scholarship. Still it bugs me cuz I can't stop thinking about it also do you think TCU or private colleges focuses on family's financial income in deciding admission of applicants? Well honestly my family is not that "rich" or affluent enough to pay for $10,000 tuition per sem. I only have to rely on scholarships & aid.

Thanks! Post some comments please!
