Help, family makes below $17,000 and UC Irvine is only offering me $5481

<p>UCI has offered me the maximum Pell Grant of $4,731.00 and Academic Competitiveness Grant of $750. I still need $19,000, what do I do?</p>

<p>No Cal Grant? You should qualify unless you are out of state. If you are out of state, there isn't much more financial aid. Did you apply to any public schools in your own state?</p>

<p>I just read your other posts. No Cal Grant because the FAFSA deadline for Cal Grant is 3/2? Maybe try contacting the California Student Aid Commission California</a> Financial Aid, College Financial Aid, Student Grants - CalGrants.org and see if there is anything they can do. Cal Grants are worth about $7,000 at the UCs.</p>
