Why I have no idea where I stand in comparison to other students...
- My first two years of school I was in and out of the school system, with a 3.0 average and very few EC's because of a congenital heart valve problem. One of those years I recieved no credit, not even for the home school work I did.
- I attempted to take community college classes my third year, hoping the open schedule would help getting back into after being sick for so long. That year at 16, I moved out of my mother's house, began working full time with a work permit, and had a 2.3 GPA
-Throughout this time I became increasingly active with my EC's, which were all that was keeping me sane. I eventually entered into high school my forth as a junior, in an attempt to fix previous mistakes and graduate. I had to retake many sophemore classes (that was the year I missed) and self studied AP's hoping to make my resume a little more competitive.

You have an interesting story to tell you. If you really show your story in your essays, I think you have a good shot at a lot of LACs, like the ones you’re interested in. Good luck!
