so im a freshman in college right now, planning on transferring out. i have my heart set on one college, but I'm going to apply to a few back ups.

SOO can you guys give me some suggestions of prestigious (not ivy league status, but not random ones lol) universities that you think would match these stats?

HS (i think they look at these if you apply as a sophomore):
gpa: 3.6 weighted (7 ap's)
sat/act: 2050/31
ec's: varsity sports (captain one year), clubs, club officer, piano, volunteering (the usual stuff)

college:
expected gpa this semester: 3.7ish
units finished by end of year: 30
e.c.'s: lottsss and lots of volunteering. its big at my school. job working at local theater. clubs, im volleyball

I can probably get some good recs too
andd i wanna stay on the west coast preferrably, the farthest ill think of going is texas
any help would be appreciated :D thankss

i go to a really small religious school, and its just too much like high school. never annny parties on campus, no real school spirit, christianity is too in your face etc.

i just want a well rounded, diverse college where i can get the full college experience ya know? usc is my first choice, btw

Claremont McKenna is supposed to be very strong in Political Science. Some others to possibly check into are Texas, Colorado and Washington. Best of luck!

UT-Austin would be a good choice, and you could probably swing that with your collegiate GPA. U Washington, U Puget Sound, Reed, and U Colorado-Boulder, where Condi Rice obtained her bachelor’s degree, may also be a good option.
