Hi. Congrats on your upcoming graduation!

You may want to let us know a little bit about your background such as where are you graduating from? Do you have a portfolio? Do you have a preference where you’d like to go? Also, have your advisors at your university offered advice on where to apply? I would think they are your best bet in giving suggestions. Have you applied to any universities yet? Does your current university offer a Masters? Is that an option?

@ArchTamal, Is your degree a BS or a BArch? You can’t do much about your GPA at this point, but you can enhance other aspects of your profile. One idea would be to work for a year or two before rushing into an MArch. That way you could build your portfolio and add work experience to your resume.

Aside from the very tippy-top rated schools, there are many MArch programs that are not highly selective. Admissions depends a range of factors like your portfolio, work experience (including summer internships) and demographic like gender, ethnicity, life experience. There’s a big range in the length of MArch programs from as short as 1.0 years and as long as 3.5 year, so how you intend to finance the degree is also something to consider.
