HELP finding a school!

So I just finished 11th grade and am starting to look at colleges. It's pretty intimidating and I have no idea what range of colleges I should be looking at.

I'm primarily interested in business schools.

I have 3.7 UW 4.4 W GPA, 2080 SAT.

Extracurricular notables: Eagle Scout, LOTS AND LOTS of Drama/Theater stuff

I take Chinese in school (just finished AP Chinese this year) and plan to write a lot of my college essays about it.

What schools should be my reach, safety, match?

I saw that USC (Southern Carolina) has a program called IBCE (international business chinese enterprise) and thought it was pretty neat.

What state are you in?

Go to collegeboard.com then under college choose all the factors that are important to you such as size, your sat scores, the location, your major and it will automatically create a list of all the schools that fit into what you want

I can’t really give you specific schools, but you can go to collegeboard as the person above said or other college matching sites and that can give you an idea. Before you fill anything out though, make a list of things you MUST have. Ex: The size of what school I go to is important to me, the school must have my major, and it must be within six hours of my home.

How much can your family afford?

USC’s (South Carolina) International Business Program is ranked #1 in the country by US News and World Report. Students must apply to USC and the IBCE program concurrently. Student’s admitted to USC with SAT Scores above 1200 (2 part SAT) may be considered for scholarships that can make going out of state very affordable. The IBCE program was recently recognized in the Harvard Business Review as an innovative program. About half of those students who apply to IBCE are admitted (20 students). Those students must maintain strong grades at USC to continue in the program. Admitted students are not required to know chinese but will study at whatever level is appropriate for them at USC and CUHK.

You should contact Dr David Hudgins at the IBCE he runs it and is accessible. Will give u a good feel. My sons in the program and loves it.
