Help finding the best school to transfer to?

I went to Elon in North Carolina last semester as a freshman, but ended up really disliking the middle of nowhere location and the lack of diversity in the student body. I withdrew during christmas break when I came home (to Massachusetts) and am now taking classes at a nearby college (Dean College).

I want to study communications but I'm having a hard time finding a school. My GPA is a 3.0, SAT score was 1860 (500 math, 720 reading and 640 writing) and I have about 16 credits. I'm not really picky about location but because of my GPA it's hard to find schools that I'm confident I'll get into. I'm looking at Quinnipiac right now, UTampa, Emerson and Maryland but I really want to find other schools to look at it. I really want a school that,

has a nice campus

is either near/in a city

has a good comm program

has a diverse/friendly student body

I'm not a big partier either so that was another factor that lead to me not liking Elon (hardly anything to do except party). I want to go to a school where I can party but also find other things to do as well. Does anyone know any schools that would be good for me to consider?
