Hello, I am a upcoming senior who has been looking for colleges. I look to go into Pre-Med. I want it clear, I do NOT want to leave Florida no matter what. Also, I am looking to apply to 6-9 schools.

Lastly, financials are big for me. Knowing I want to go to medical school, I do not want to pay off loans for the rest of me life.

Here are my stats:

1720 (superscored) on my SAT:
560 CR, 620 M, 580 W.
3.8 GPA unweighted, 4.8 weighted.
400+ community service.
Ranking in top 5%.

Here are the colleges I have seriously considered:

Let me know on any colleges I am good matches for or anything I should consider. I know I have to definitely narrow on my match schools. Some colleges I have ruled out are Bethune Cookman, FSU, Embry-Riddle, UNF, Florida Southern, and UWF. Let me know if I should reconsider that. Thanks in advance!

Well I ruled out FSU because of personal reasons; Someone I know went there and got into some trouble so of course my mother said she won’t allow me to apply there lol

With my SAT, NSU is almost a match :l and both of those are private so idk about NSU, but thanks for the info on Lynn. I requested info on them and I think they’re a real school to consider

Well, you’re a few SAT points (or maybe an ACT score) short of a near-full ride at FAMU:
[Scholarships - Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University 2012](<a href=“Page Not Found”>Page Not Found)

Perhaps another try at the SAT and a try at the ACT may be worth it, since cost is an important consideration for you?

Yeah, I was going to try and make sure I sign up for the October because I know that isn’t good enough, at least getting a 1200 CR and M because I’m only 20 short lol. thanks
