Help, flunking Java class

Hello, up until this point I have earned straight A's at my cc but now I have a D in Java and after the final I'll still have a D or an F. I'm applying/signing TAG this Fall for UCSD because thankfully I will still have above a 3.5 even if I flunk the class. Is there something I'm missing that's going to significantly hurt my chances for TAG or admissions? I want to retake the class but won't be able to during the summer.

Java is a prereq for my major.

Also, do summer courses even count towards the GPA for fall admissions?

If you’re transferring for Fall 2012, this Summer 2011 will count. However, next summer will not count unless you are given approval from the school at which you’ve been accepted to. As long as you have your TAG requirements set. You should be perfectly fine to transfer. Just retake the course, finish your pre-reqs if possible. And you’'ll soon be a Triton !

Oh great, thank you, that is a relief.

Fall 2011 classes and grades count as well!
