help for a junior

I am starting to look into schools to visit and apply to in the fall. I am a junior right now. After reading about careers, I believe the best fit for my interests and talents would probably be landscape architecture. I love science, especially marine, and art/design. I am in a pre-arch program at my high school and really like it. In looking at schools, there are some that offer a BLA. I like the looks of University of Georgia and Virginia Tech is in my home state. Other colleges that I am interested in don't have a BLA specifically but are good in the arts and sciences. (I am looking at W & M, USC (Columbia) and the College of Charleston. If I didn't go to a school that had the BLA, what would be a good major or double major to get in order to be a strong candidate to go onto grad school and get my MLA?

I was thinking geology and art? biology and art? Is it best to go to a school with the BLA offering? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

USC = University of South Carolina or University of Southern California?

If it's the latter, strike them from your list. The landscape program is in turmoil right now, Mark Rios just left, and the students are transferring because they can't get the courses they need to graduate.

Other related majors... possibly a pre-professional (B.A. or B.S.) in architecture, or maybe forestry? A BLA would probably be your best bet though.
