I am going to be starting cc college soon and I wanted to know peoples stats for those who got accepted, what you did and what should i focus on? anyone who has transfered to Haas this please give me some helpful tips thanks for your time and i appreciate you help :)

1) Finish all the prereqs. I heard that they are changing the requirements soon so make sure to keep up with that.
2) Obviously work hard, study, and get a high gpa. However, contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a 4.0. 1-2 B’s won’t kill your chances.
3) Get involved. Doesn’t have to be strictly ‘business-related’ such as President of Business club. I chose to pursue a NASA (non business) internship instead.
4) Start early on essays. Strong essays definitely help, especially if your gpa is borderline.

get a job at investment bank

over the summer, go to west africa and help village orphans.

become student government president

get 4.0

take up to linear algebra and at least 3 excess business classes (business law, business management, etc).

Cure cancer

Get 3 somali pirates to at least the top 50 of the Forbes list (top 20 if you have a low gpa).

With the aid of Jamarcus Russell, get the Oakland Raiders to the Super Bowl.

Make many threads on CC saying how much you love Haas, take a screenshot, and then attach that to your application (save as .png cause .bmp is auto rejection)

Hey, they’re ■■■■■■■■ you. This means they’re just messing around and giving you a hard time. Go to [Remote Support And Remote Support Services | GoToAssist](http://www.assist.com) and check the agreement with your community college for Berkeley for Haas. Every major is a little different. Haas doesn’t do the usual igetc model but rather they have this thing called the breadth requirement. I highly recommend you get the breadth requirement and igetc done in case you want to apply other places as well.

The most important thing to get into haas is getting breadth done with a high gpa. I highly recommend not going under a 3.8.

Maybe you should contact the school and ask these questions. Continuously bumping a thread where it is obvious no one has the answers you are looking for is pointless and annoying.

I can speak on behalf of my friend who’s transferring to Haas this coming fall:

GPA: 3.92
Co-founder + VP of an investment organization at his community college
Finance director at a sustainability-themed start-up
Finished all Haas prerequisites and core classes
Took around 21-24 credits worth of Honors
Wrote great essays (had guidance under UC Berkeley TAP counselor).
Was part of the TAP program for UC Berkeley (92% of TAP students are admitted to Cal).

At my friend’s community college (a big one at the very least) only five students got into Haas: Four were part of UC Berkeley’s TAP, so that says something there.

I forgot to add that Cupertinotransfr is incorrect: You don’t need to take excess business courses since many of them do not transfer to UC’s. Just fulfill the required classes on assist.org.

Don’t listen to @Cupertinotransfr. He’s just messing with you and ■■■■■■■■. I quickly googled TAP Berkeley and got some hits. I’d just go through those links and see what you can find. I pasted one below but I didn’t get a chance to really go through it so I don’t know if it’s beneficial or not.

Koachk, please use the search function or ask your counselors as well. If you want to double major in Haas/any other major, you need to be first accepted to Haas. I would recommend having all the requirements done for other major listed on assist.org.
