<p>I will take ACT on June 8. My worst section is reading, last time I only got 13!! other sections were Ok. I real need pass reading this time. Because i am not a good english speaker, so,,,, I just want pass ,just a passing score. thank you</p>
<p>Read a lot of English outside of the test (as in, read in your free time). Articles, book, you name it (just not twitter and facebook updates).</p>
<p>The key is to focus while reading (make sure it’s level-appropriate too), and to look up words you don’t know. By doing this you not only increase your vocabulary but also strengthen both your reading and writing skills. Languages truly are the most passive areas. What I mean by this is that making vocab flash cards won’t help you in the long run. You just have to read, read, and read some more.</p>
<p>I suggest reading articles from the NYTimes (nytimes.com) or other newspapers, along with literary magazines (such as the New Yorker or New York Times Literary Supplement). As long as you’re not reading below your level, you’ll improve over time.</p>
