Help for my best friend!

I spent the last three years trying to convince my very smart yet lazy best friend to reconsider going to fashion college (FIDM in LA) and at the very least get a business degree. Now that I've succeded, I realize she needs a lot more help.

She really wants to go to USC, she just visited and loved the school. She's also looking at UIUC (we live in Illinois), University of Minnesota, Syracuse, and UT Austin. The problem is, she has virtually no saftey schools that she likes and not a single financial saftey. Her favorite school is a huge reach. I'm trying to suggest a few more match and saftey schools, both private and public. Her stats are below.

UW GPA: 3.6
W GPA: 3.95
ACT: 29 (retaking in september)
APs: Econ 4, Calc AB 4, taking Gov and Stats next year.
EC's: Varsity Poms 9-10, sportsmanship and leadership awards. Athletic Council 9-10. Class Council 11-12. Senior Class VP. Works 15 hours a week 10-12.

She'll get good reccomendations and if she interviews it'll help her.

Any suggestions are VERY appreciated.

Freinds daughter is starting a Fashion major this Fall.
Some of the schools she applied to (you can check them out) are:
LIM (in NYC- apparently has great internships)
FIT (in NYC)
Philadelphia Univ.
RISD

Check these out. They may (or may not) be a good fit for your friend.

What can she afford?

She can afford a limited amount, her parents make a decent amount of money. I forgot to mention this before, she takes a mix of mostly honors, but the occaisional AP or regular class.
