im gonna be applying to wharton. so i was thinking that if i dont get a math recommendation, does it look bad? cuz my math teacher doesnt noe me tht well and i aint a bright student in the class. im planing to get an econ rec, which will be a great one, and i m not sure with my other rec. im thinking of my english teacher, but since i take the IB, my english is A2 standard level (if any noes about IB), will tht not be a good idea? my math is higher leve, and my other higher levels are econ and physics. again, im doing well in physics, but the teacher doesnt know me that well. i can ask my itgs teacher, which noes me really well, but im not sure how the subject itgs will look… any ideas or inputs?

u can choose whatever teacher u like, preferably one who taught one of your core subjects. suggested combo is 1 teacher from you humanities subject and another from your math/sci subjects. its the quality that counts, they do not always have to come from teachers who taught you the toughest classes/math.

Yeah, it will not harm you that one of the teachers who writes your recommendation is your IB English A2 SL teacher. What matters is what he/she says about you, how much time he has known you, etc. It would not be better if he was your IB English A1 HL teacher and said the same things.
