Help! Freaking Out!

I am a freshman in High School and I just got my report card back. First semester I had a GPA of 3.83 and this semester I got a 3.5! I am worried if this 3.5 is going to ruin my overall GPA. I started to slack off in the end of the year. The reason my GPA dropped so low is because my A- turned to B+. I got 4 A's on my report card and I got 4 B's on my report card all being B+ except for one B. Next year I plan to get back into the groove of things and step up my act. Also in 2 of the B+ they were honors classes so those are weighed. Also the B I got was in a science but I am also taking a science course as an elective. So does that look better for colleges. I also take two varsity sports and plan to take them all four years. I am also class Vice President and was re-elected for sophomore year. I don't have many extra curriculars at the moment and don't do much service in my community. But this summer I plan to seek more opportunities. Are my chances of getting into a good college much less because my GPA went down significantly for second semester? Help!

You’re a freshman. Calm down and come back in 2 years if things don’t improve

Don’t worry! You are fine. Most colleges don’t look at Freshmen year grades at all.
