Hello, I'm applying for admission in fall 2012. I am a male African-American, I attend a College Preparatory Boarding/Day School in Pennsylvania which has a tough curriculum that is in the 99th percentile. Currently, my gpa is a 3.8, and I do various other EC's. Prior to my sophomore year of high school I lived in the Bahamas and after I was accepted to my College prep school they forced me to repeat sophomore year because of my age and because I was a international student, they also forced me to take algebra I again and I will only be able to complete Algebra II before I graduate in May, 2012. My question is, on USF's freshmen requirements page it says "If you are graduating from high school in 2011 or thereafter, you must complete four units of mathincluding one course above and beyond Algebra II" does this mean I wont get accepted or deffered just because my school forced me to take math up until Algebra II ?
Thank you!

In the area for the essay, you could maybe write about that and explain it that way they know what is going on.

I’ve already sent in my application last week, and I was just scrolling through the USF website last night and I seemed to have missed that the first time I was on the requirements webpage. Is there some other way I could let them know what is going on seeing how I’ve already sent in my application?

Not sure there’s any other way. Have you tried emailing admissions, maybe they know another way?
