I am consided to be an ESL student but is it because i didn't pass ay of my ap english tests and analytical writing exam? I lived in the US for more than 8 years and i do acknowledge my english is not that great. They recently send me an e-mail saying:

"We are writing to let you know that you have been placed in ESL 33C. This placement was made based on a comprehensive review of your AWPE essay. ESL 33C satisfies the ESL requirement, but you must still take ESL 35 after successful completion of ESL 33C to satisfy the Entry Level Writing requirement.

Only limited sections of ESL 33C & ESL 35 will be offered in the 2006-2007 academic year. We urge you to work with your Orientation Counselor and plan your course schedule with your ESL courses in mind. To enroll in the course, please use URSA.

Just a reminder that it is important that you begin meeting your ESL and writing requirements as soon as possible. UC Academic Senate regulations require you to complete the Entry Level Writing Requirement (ELWR) by the end of your first full year at UCLA. In addition, UCLA requires you to complete Writing I (the campus requirement that follows ELWR) during your freshman year. "

I'm scared if i don't do well i will be kick out of school. are the classes hard for esl students???
