<p>I don’t know what you mean by reporting, as a reporter could write or do online, radio, tv, etc. I assume you mean TV reporting.</p>
<p>What you will want to do is major in journalism with your emphasis area being broadcast.</p>
<p>Missouri and Northwestern are always good choices. My mind is a little fried at the moment, but I believe NYU, Maryland, and Syracuse are pretty good for this too.</p>
<p>I am not trying to be snide, but I think if you want to be a reporter, the very best possible thing you could do is to research this on your own using sources chosen because they are reliable when it comes to this issue, not just random people on the internet.</p>
<p>If you were preparing a news story (for whatever kind of media) about, say, whether Obama’s plan for Afghanistan is a solid one, you might be talking to military leaders, statesmen, the State Department, and so on, right?</p>
<p>Not only would you be able to judge the value of the information coming in, but you would learn a lot about what kind of reporting interested you.</p>
