I wanna know whether there is any good forum about graduate admission besides College Confidential!Thanks for your reply!

try thegradcafe.com

You’re lookin’ at it. CC probably has the most people posting regularly about grad school in general (there might be other sights for specific training programs)

Thanks, but what “CC” means?

CC = College Confidential

This is the best, most active forum on the web for graduate school applicants/students.

I got some tips from phdcomics.com but this board was really the best forum board for admissions.

I agree. I do use the GradCafe. This forum is the best for general grad school admissions and more details about the STEM field. GC may be a bit better for humanities and social science. The advantage of this particular forum is that we do have several professors lurking around to give you more specifics on the admissions process.

Gradcafe is better than CC :)

agree; however, I am a bit bothered by the people who ask stupid questions like: “best sneakers for grad school” or “best sunglasses for grad school” - as if graduate student status changes the intrinsic properties of goodness for these ordinary consumer items.

So beyond the neuroticism, I found gradcafe to be pretty helpful.

For physics/astro, physicsgre.com is quite nice. physicsforums also has some nice info.

Otherwise, phdcomics.com/proceedings has some info

mathlinks might work for math grad school
