HELP: Good match/low reach schools?????

With the RD deadline approaching I only have a few schools on my list. I applied EA to my local state school and EA to Boston College (both legacy), and right now for regular decision I’m really at a loss.

I have a 3.7 unweighted GPA, and a 4.4 weighted GPA; a 34 on the ACT and some good subject test scores (all 750+).
My common app essay is pretty strong and both of my recs are probably close to 10/10 (really close to both teachers).
Cost wise aide is always nice, and probably nothing over 50k a year would be affordable.
I lean rural, but I could be persuaded to live elsewhere if the school seems like a good fit.
A good arts/humanities program is essential, I’m leaning history right now for a major.

Provided you might be eligible for some need-based financial assistance, look into Kenyon, Oberlin, Hamilton, Bowdoin, Colgate, Grinnell. You would encounter one or two true reaches in this group, but the remainder might serve as low reaches or high matches.

Did you run the Net Price Calculator at BC already? What appeals to you about BC? What size schools do you have in mind? What state do you live in?
