Ok, so i need some advice/reassurance about my report card. I'm only a sophmore in high school and this is only my first semester final grades, so i know and am determined that i can definetly pull up my grades, as well as my GPA. So i'm not 100%, but i think my GPA is now around a 3.2 instead of what it used to be at a 3.5...math is definetly my downfall...Anyway, i was just thinking, does your GPA start over again when my Junior year starts next year?? I know most colleges look at mostly unweighted GPA and mostly (or supposedly) your junior year??? So like if i do well in my junior year, i'll have a better GPA or will my 3.2/3.1 (i know, very bad in my humble opionion) follow me through junior and senior year??

your gpa is all of your grades (fresh-senior) combined

lol, GPA restarting. People just love second chances…

some colleges (and that’s what I assume you are worried about) don’t look at freshman grades, which can totally change what your gpa is. so if all your lower grades are from freshman year, and you choose to apply to princeton, it won’t matter.
but yeah, you don’t get a second GPA…
