Help-Grammatical Mistake

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>While I was writing the short answer of Yale in the supplement, I made my only mistake, but it is a huge one:</p>

<p>Instead of writing: "Yale offers everything I could demand from a college", I wrote "Yale is offers everything I could demand from a college"</p>

<p>Should I send an email and tell them about the mistake or should I let it go?</p>

<p>Will this mistake also lessen my chances of being admitted?</p>

<p>Thank you so much!</p>

<p>It’s an huge mistake even for foreign students ( I don’t know whether you’re one of those)
It’s a dilemma because sending an email to them would mean that you didn’t take care enough of your essay, letting it go will be detrimental to the impact of your essay whatever topic you chose. I wouldn’t like to be in your place now.
it’s too bad because you should have proofread it more carefully.
I hope that it won’t be like that but I think that this huge mistake will lessen your chance of getting there (you can’t put the clock back so best of luck to you)
you should know that whatever the “gravity” of a mistake it will lessen your chance mainly when you are against (it’s a big word but no matter) other very competitive students who might have sent essays without any mistakes.</p>

<p>I may sound very defeatist but I don’t know…
best of luck to you that’s all I can do.</p>

<p>You should let it go and this single editing error will not affect your chances of getting admitted.</p>
