Help, guys

Hey guys, quick question.
Just recently I was just admitted as an Anthropology major (transfer student). The thing is that, I don't think I want to major in Anthropology anymore. So, is it possible to change majors from Anthropology to Sociology?
Any LA students know the rules and regulations about this? I know that Sociology is an impacted major and allows very few students in based on GPA and pre-reqs. But how important are the pre-reqs when switching majors, once admitted? As for myself, I'm holding a GPA of a 3.88, and finished 2 out the 3 pre-reqs for Sociology (Intro. Socio and Stats).
I don't know if missing that one pre-req math class would hurt my chances in switching?

thanks.

Sociology*

To be considered for this major, all of the preparatory courses listed here must be completed by the spring before transfer.

one course in introduction to sociology
one course in statistics [1]
one course in finite mathematics or calculus [2]
A score of 3 or higher on the AP Statistics exam can be used in place of the statistics course.
A score of 3 or higher on the AP Calulus AB or BC exam can be used in place of the calculus course.
*Demand for this major significantly exceeds space available.

So I would imagine that unless the above requirements are met, you will be unable to change majors.
