Help! Have to get better at a test I despise!

<p>As you noticed, I am not the biggest fan of the ACT since I just got my score back and
I got this:</p>

<p>Total: 23
Math-27
Science- 22
Reading -20
English- 24
Combined English/Writing- 23
Essay-8</p>

<p>Yeah so the ACT is not my test since I did wayy better on the SAT in comparison (1930).
But my parents want me to take it again and do better. I honestly think I can do better but I have NO idea on how to study for this test! I got the The Real ACT Prep Guide but I didnt find it that useful besides providing practice exams. </p>

<p>So can anyone give me advice on how I can improve cuz now Im stumped.</p>

<p>Why wouldn’t you just try to improve on the SAT since you earned a higher score on that first test? That’s what we advise our students…</p>

<p>Well Im studying for the SAT as well but since I want to apply Early Action, I want to take the ACT.</p>
