<p>the SAT doesnt matter much at all. if u get over 2200 ur fine. Its the subject tests that the panel looks at.
Also, rule #1: Never do something with the sole intention of it helping your chances. Since you are applying this year, counselors will notice that you bumped up ur ECs or took initiative only this year. It will work against you. Just do things you like, and have been doing, and take a greater role in those activities instead of trying new things with the intention of hopefully coming across an activity that may or may not please the person reading your application.</p>
<p>The question that you need to answer is NOT what you CAN do to fit those schools, but instead what you ALREADY do to fit them. Thats the essence of making most schools. Atleast thats what i learnt after making the schools i applied for.</p>
