help help! act vs. sat?

2100 SAT (2120 superscore)
or 30 ACT?

thanksss!

[Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html)

I would use SAT, from all the sources I’ve seen a 30 ACT is closer to 2000 than 2100 on the SATs.

Definitely SAT, a 2100 easily outdoes a 30 on ACT

should i even bother sending my ACT scores out?

Seeing that the ACT will not positively effect you it would only have no impact whatsoever or negatively hurt, therefore I would not send it

[ACT-SAT Concordance](The ACT Test for Students | ACT)

It depends on your sub-scores.

But I would say your SAT is better.

my subscores:

33 english
32 reading
28 science
27 math
11 on the essay

versus:

Jan 2010 SAT:

660- CR, 640- Math, 650- Writing

May SAT 2010:

640-CR, 690- Math, 770- Writing

also are these scores even close enough for UCLA/ USC?

i have a LOT of EC’s, all which show leadership, commitment, and interest in certain areas

i have a 4.2 UC GPA, and a 4.1 UW GPA and a 3.95 UW

i have taken 3 AP’s scored 5’s on all of them, currently taking 3 more

I am a national merit commended scholar, and an AP scholar

EC’s include:
Tennis (captain 3 years on JV, varsity 1 year)
Newspaper Editor
Competitive Indian Dance
President of Culture Club
VP of Future Business Leaders of America Club
Volunteered over 200+ hours with a nonprofit organization that helps women with domestic violence issues
held a marketing internship with the same nonprofit organization
Held an internship over the summer
Worked as a swim coach and a reading comprehension tutor
Participated in Mock Trial for a year- was not allowed to join the team the following years because of large commitment to tennis

have great teacher rec’s, and a varsity letter- possibility of receiving a scholar-athlete award (but not even close to sure)

any tips?
