i want to apply ED for Carnegie Mellon (either Institute of Tech. or Tepper school of business) is it a real big stretch??

others on my list:

u of minnesota ( most likely Carlson School of Management ) - in state
Carleton College -in state

u of wis madison
cornell.......which is my dad's biggest wish..@_@

open to other suggestions.

AND ALSO, WOULD ANY OF THESE COLLEGES MAKE ME TAKE TOEFL???!!!!

any appropriate input is greatly appreciated.

oh oh i forgot to include my ap's.

i have taken ap euro(4) apush (3) ap stats (4)
i will take ap calc, ap physics, and ap chem.

You living in the state of Minnesota would have no affect on your chances at Carleton. It's a private school.

Anyways, I think your ACT is good enough for CMU ED for the tech school, but maybe not for Tepper. I don't think you could swing Cornell, but it's worth a try. Unfortunately, even though you don't know English well, it still doesn't make you a URM.

Yea I agree I think ur stats are good enough for Carnegie Mellon ED

i know my test scores aren't the greatest. especaily the score in the math section. i screwed up greatly while i was taking the test so if i take it again i am expected to do much better.

but the problem is i won't have time to retake it again in oct bc i must take sat ii's. .................... -_________-

I NEED MORE SUGGESTIONS! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

Break the Asian barrier-- to much math/piano/science oriented,
