help! help me to choose

I got into Syracuse University, Drexel University, U Connecticut, and Fordham University. I am not looking for a particular major, but i just want a good school to go to. Please help me pick one of them.

Thanks for the ones who replied.

Have you visited any or all of these schools? It would be of your benefit to visit all of them, and preferably spend a night in a dorm with a student.

Things to consider (and things to look up about each school) when making your decision:
-Majors/classes available- an artsy kid probably wouldn't be happy at rpi or mit; a techie kid probably wouldn't be happy at risd
-Class size- small classes provide more interaction with the professor, but some people prefer larger classes
-Location- in/next to/near/nowhere near a city? what about climate? distance from home?
-Extra-curricular activities (sports, clubs, etc.)? athletic facilities?
-Campus- how big or small are the campuses (what size do you want)? do you like the buildings? does it seem clean and well-maintained? is there stuff to do on the weekends?
-Social life- consider presence/prevalence of greek life, alcohol, parties
-Cost- public schools are generally cheaper (even for out of state students) than private schools; do you have scholarships to any?

Syracuse has got the best rep. by far. Go there.

I agree that more information about ur preferences would be helpful. But:

If u want sports, go to 'Cuse or UConn. These also have more of a party atmosphere.
If u want the city, go to Drexel or Fordham.
If ur in-state, go to UConn.
If u want the co-op experience, go to Drexel.
If they end up similarly priced and ur looking for prestige, go to 'Cuse or Fordham.
If u want a slightly smaller school (Altho they're all moderately large), go to Fordham.

i have narrowed it down to Syracuse and Fordham.
Here's the things that helps me to make the decision.

Fordham:
My gf is in NYC, so i can see her everyday or most of the day. We have a long distance relationship for a year (after her graduation from high school). I will be very happy to have a chance to see her.

However, Fordham does not have a good major i desire to have, and its reputation is not as good as the one Syracuse has.

Syracuse:
I got into the college that ranked 3rd in the nation, but it isn't very popular i guess. It is called Library and Information Studies. Also, I can do a double major with another major i like.

However, it is five hours away from NYC. I will be miserable while studying there.

Okay, definitely go Fordham. Girlfriend definitely comes first, and it tryly won't make a difference for library studies.

Like they say in the Big Apple. Money over *****es.

Go to Syracuse. If Fordham doesn't have the major you want, why bother going. Think of it this way: if you and your girlfriend broke up, would you still be happy at Fordham?

woah. Thanks for the suggestions. One more question. Can anybody tell me about the College of Information Studies at Syracuse? I would like to know more about it. Since it is my second choice college, i don't know anything about it.

Drexel is out in my book. NYC is expensive to live and your GF should not be a factor, you need to make a practical decision. All the schools are fairly even, I would go with the best financial aid package.

Honestly... do NOT make your decision based on your girlfriend. It's just not a good idea. Don't even consider her when you choose between Fordham and Syracuse.

Actually, Syracuse is ranked #1 in the nation for it's Information and Library Studies school. I would definitely choose Syracuse!

I would definitely go for Syracuse.
