I'm so confused here on my choice of schools i want to attend in US.
I'm an INTERNATIONAL STUDENT and want to study electrical engineering in the scientific schools and computer science and economics in the liberal arts schools. But my SAT 1 scores were not good and i dont have enough money to write again. I had 1730
Critical Reading - 570
Maths - 570
Writing - 590

SAT 2
MATH 2 - 570
CHEM - 710
PHYSICS - 660

My problem is that my parnets can pay only $ 3000 dollars a year toward my university education and the schools im applying to are
- MIT
- CALVIN
- AMHERST
- COLBY
- MACALESTER
- CONCORDIA COLLEGE- MOOREHEAD
- BEREA COLLEGE

What are my chances of being admitted and obtaining full financial aid in these schools.

I will be extremely happy if you can deliver a helping hand.
thank you.

Save your parents some money and don't apply to amherst or MIT.

if you want to do electrical engineering, your math sat scores should probably be somewhat higher.

don't apply to mit, amherst (its more of a liberal arts school, i dont see why you would).

as for a full ride- i honestly don't know. make sure you have great essays and good recs.

good luck!

I would look to add schools like Manhattan, Temple and Drexel. All 3 have the majors you are interested in and you would have very good chances at these schools. Some of the shools you have listed are very difficult to get into for everyone. Best of luck!
