Hi, im an incoming freshman and i think i have a serious problem at hand. When i logged on to my triton link yesterday, i found out that there was a hold on my account because they failed to get my college transcript yet, which had my art credit for the a-g UC requirement thing. I remember rush-mailing this a while back.. I just cant figure out what happened to it.
They actually threatened to rescind my admission, but will they ACTUALLY cancel my admission just for an art class? Luckily, i enrolled for classes and everything right before the hold was put on me. Please, someone give me some advice.. i'm scared to death. I'm planning on calling them tomorrow and then sending all the stuff tomorrow again.

Yes, they can rescind your admission. Like you planned, call them first. Talking to them directly usually helps solve things. :)

is it likely that they would though?

well, its sunday today so the admissions office is not open.

Not sure about how likely it is, but I just wanted you to know that it can and has happened before so...
I know it's not open. You said you'll call them tomorrow. I said do like you planned.

actually...calling them is absolutely useless over 50% of the time...i just called them regarding a huge mistake they made on my academic history...and the crap receptionist in the academic processing office told me to hold twice for 15 minutes each...then told me that i was full of crap and that i didn't send anything to them...even though ETS/Collegeboard confirms that my AP scores arrived, and my university transfers said the same...

worthless.

I didn't take an art credit and I'm so glad they haven't caught me... yet. I'm going to be paranoid for the next four years though.

My advice is to call/email them. Even if it fails 50% of the time, you'll succeed 50% of the time too.
